Harrie has broad experience across physical and mental health contexts, including both community and hospital settings. They have a professional interest in working alongside people who are neurodiverse and experience complex mental health challenges.

Harrie takes a warm, approachable, and collaborative approach and has experience working with people across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. They practice from an anti-carceral, non-pathologising framework, and from a neurodiversity paradigm that acknowledges that neurological differences are normal human variations, and not deficits or disorders to be fixed.

As an OT, they are committed to supporting people to live lives that are meaningful, connected, and empowered. Harrie works alongside their clients to find practical strategies inline with that person’s personal strengths to support participation in everyday activities and enhance wellbeing.

Areas of interest include:

  • Mental health and psychosocial disability

  • Sensory assessment and sensory modulation

  • Transgender healthcare and advocacy

  • Neuro-affirming practice

  • Working with adolescents and young people

Please note - I only work on Fridays.
